WHO WE ARE

A family business that puts your family first.

We're a family-owned memorial studio based in Beausejour, MB. For over 40 years, our team — including two Certified Master Memorialists — has worked side by side with families to design memorials that are personal, lasting, and reflective of the lives they honour. We serve families in Beausejour and across Northeastern Manitoba, remote rural communities, and Indigenous reserves throughout the region and into Northern Ontario. When you come to us, you're not filling out a form — you're sitting down with people who genuinely care.

Find the memorial that feels right.

Every family is different. So is every memorial we make. Explore the full range of options — from standing upright monuments to ground-level flat markers, slant markers, benches, and accessories.

Black granite cemetery headstone engraved “HEATHER” with names, dates, and small horse images.

Upright Monuments

A standing granite memorial that makes a strong, lasting impression. Available in a wide range of granite colours, sizes, and finishes with fully custom engraving.

Gravestone plaque for Colleen Speidel, with flowers placed around it.

Flat Markers

Ground-level memorials designed to meet most cemetery regulations, while still allowing for meaningful personalisation. Clean, dignified, and built to endure.

Slant Markers

A mid-profile option offering better visibility than a flat marker while maintaining a classic, understated appearance.

Memorial Benches

Solid granite benches installed at the memorial site — a place for family to sit, reflect, and feel close for generations to come.

Black-and-white race car gravestone for Hosowski, with roses on a green lawn.

Memorial Accessories

Granite vases, porcelain cameo photos, impact-etched portraits, and decorative lanterns — meaningful details that make each memorial uniquely personal.

OUR PROCESS

What to expect — from first call to final installation.

We believe arranging a memorial should never feel rushed or uncertain. Here is exactly what happens when you work with us — five straightforward steps, guided personally at every stage.

1. Book a consultation

Reach out by phone or through our contact form. There's no obligation and no rush — just a conversation to understand what you're looking for.

2. Design your memorial together

We sit down with you — in person, by phone, or digitally — and work through every detail: granite colour, size, shape, lettering style, and any personal artwork or photos.

3. Review & approve your design proof

You receive a visual design proof before anything is produced. Nothing moves forward until you're completely satisfied.

4. Production & quality check

Your memorial is crafted with precision and inspected thoroughly before it ever leaves our studio.

5. Delivery & installation at the cemetery

We handle delivery and professional installation directly at the cemetery — coordinating with the cemetery on your behalf.

Testimonial background

"From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were in good hands. Shelly took the time to understand who our mother was — her love of gardening, her sense of humour, her quiet dignity. The memorial she helped us design captures all of that. We couldn't be more grateful."

— Patricia L., Beausejour, MB

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions we hear from families like yours.

Here are answers to a few of the questions families ask us most. For the full list, visit our FAQ page.

  • Do you serve communities outside of Beausejour?

Yes — we serve families across all of Northeastern Manitoba, including rural and remote communities and Indigenous reserves. We also serve families in Northern Ontario. Distance is not a barrier; we travel to deliver and install, and we're happy to work by phone or digitally if visiting the studio isn't possible.
  • How long does it take to receive a completed memorial?

Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the design, the time of year, and cemetery scheduling. We'll give you a realistic estimate during your consultation and keep you informed throughout. We don't rush — quality takes the time it takes.
  • What is a Certified Master Memorialist?

A Certified Master Memorialist (CMM) is a professional designation earned through the Monument Builders of North America. It requires demonstrated expertise in memorial design, production standards, and ethical family service. Both Shelly Bohn and Dennis Bohn hold this designation — one of the highest credentials in the industry.
